Fresh food at the AHFM market

The Adelaide Hills Farmers' Market, Inc. (AHFM)

The AHFM was established by a group of dedicated Hills residents that had a vision to promote fresh, seasonal and regional food and to establish a community event that provides for an enjoyable experience when buying food.

The AHFM is a 'true farmers market' -  it is a food only market that specialises in authentic, regional, fresh and seasonal product.  The market stalls offer a range of green and field vegetables, herbs, fruit, nuts, seeds and any product that can be grown or is made from primary products.

Customers can also buy fresh produce, flowers, plants, bread, eggs, meat, smallgoods, wine, juices, jams, condiments, chutneys, fresh pasta, olive oil, honey and anything else that is either grown or produced in the region.  There is freshly ground coffee, hot food, pies and pasties and a terrific selection of vegetarian food offerings.  The smells, colour and textures of the food are rich; all set in a quiet corner a 23 Mann Street, Mt Barker. This friendly country market has a very unique and special feel.

 A vast variety of products!

Over 25 stallholders set up 'shop' every Saturday morning and sell their goods to customers from 8am to midday.  The colourful tents at 23 Mann Street can be seen from the main road and locals and visitors to the region have already discovered this newly established friendly market.
